Bilbo Baggins is a hobbit who enjoys a comfortable, unambitious life, rarely traveling any farther than his pantry or cellar. But his contentment is disturbed when the wizard Gandalf and a company of dwarves arrive on his doorstep one day to whisk him away on an adventure. Dois-je vraiment présenter le Hobbit ? Grand classique qui se lit très facilement, aux allures de conte pour enfant. Un prérequis avant d'attaquer le Seigneur des Anneaux.

Fantastic new audiobook edition

It's been a couple of decades since I last read The Hobbit, but the story still holds up. This new audiobook edition is read by Andy Serkis (the actor who voiced and played Gollum, among many others). His voice acting is spectacular and really adds to the book. Highly recommended!

Es bonito volver a la Tierra Media

No sé si es justo comparar este libro con «El Señor de los Anillos», pero me resulta difícil no hacerlo. Pese a lo interesante de la historia y lo emocionante de cualquier viaje y aventura por la Tierra Media, no siento que haya llegado a conocer a los personajes y encariñarme de ellos como en la trilogía.
